Amanda Wilhelm joined the University Painter’s team in the summer of 2001. Amanda attended Towson University (Graduation class of 2003) and began running the painting business in the summers of college in Annapolis, MD. She was Rookie of the Year in 2001. After graduating, Amanda recruited, trained and managed college students in the Mid-Atlantic Region while also operating a business in the Philadelphia, PA area. In 2008, Amanda took over the Washington, DC territory and began operating a painting business building it up from the ground starting with a $200,000 business which has grown into over a half million dollar business venture. Amanda has earned several Sales and Customer Service awards during her tenure with University Painters. Being a resident of Washington, DC for 5 years and living just outside of the area her whole life has given her the experience to understand the customers, homes and quality of work that is expected in Washington, DC. Amanda and her husband Tony reside in Southern Maryland with their three children, Sofia (6), Leo (4) and Sonny (3). She enjoys being a mom, traveling, and nature.
William Howland joined the Washington, DC University Painters team in May 2014. William has been involved in the painting industry for 20 years and grew up in Bowie, Maryland. He attended Bowie High School and spent his summers painting houses. Before his training for Sales & Production Leader, William was trained as a high end foreman for painting teams in the state of Maryland. With his expertise as a painter for 15 years, he is able to use this hands on experience to help the customer better understand the process of house painting and to create a very accurate and competitive estimate. William and his wife live in Hyattsville, MD with their children Liam (2) and Leena (1). William’s hobbies include music and camping.
